Comment by B2O(3/20/2015 3:07:33 PM) - Hi Lindsay, you followed the rule of thirds in your composition and Ray made a good improvement on the shadow details. This image would work better in a serie. Only this picture is like the title "Just some trees".
I don't want to offend you but will be honest and encourage you to make more images. Most important is enjoying the fun in photography yourself.
Hope to see more from you.

Comment by B2O(3/20/2015 2:44:41 PM) - And the series goes on.......... Nice one again and also good use of field of sharpness. It makes the (bit) busy BG a lot more quiet.

Comment by B2O(3/17/2015 11:42:41 AM) - Again a good shot Dean. I always like square images. The twig takes makes it feel good, otherwise it would be a bit centered. Good addition of that twig and a very nice improvement by brightening a bit.

Comment by B2O(3/17/2015 11:37:56 AM) - The upper part of the image is WONDERFUL Doug and I completely understand why you took this image focussing on the light on that peak. Very nice. Agree with Georgie and I am not completely sure about improving. Crop or lightening the Shadow lights. I think Cropping is the best to keep fully attention on that special light on the peak.
But it is al up to you
Thanks for sharing!

Comment by B2O(3/10/2015 1:57:23 PM) - Wonderful Dean! Just like a classic human portrait:-) Nice colors (Ton-sur-Ton) Great compo and the cherry on the cake is this twig[^528;833;1] diagonal from the right bottom corner.
Nice for in a nature book! (small nit maybe clone this [^758;25;1] away. Makes is better than it already is. Great compliment.

Comment by B2O(3/8/2015 12:22:00 PM) - Again nice colors on the bird. The BG is a bit sad, but good you could have him framed.

Comment by B2O(3/8/2015 12:20:25 PM) - Typical Wessel composition:-) I like the colors in here Wessel.

Comment by B2O(2/15/2015 12:35:08 PM) - Nice image Dean. A bit less saturation of the blues would make it even better. It will give more attention to the colors of the bird.

Comment by B2O(2/15/2015 12:31:50 PM) - Great combination of colors Koduck. And great combination of 3 eyes.

Comment by B2O(2/15/2015 12:26:53 PM) - Nice scene Sreten. Specially the play of light. Must be cold out there[^809;387;1] Maybe a bit more black could give some more contrast. Gr. Bas

Comment by B2O(2/13/2015 10:26:41 AM) - He pops out Wessel! Good job in a busy BG. (That is totally not disturbing)
Gr. Bas

Comment by B2O(2/13/2015 10:25:09 AM) - Technically it could use a bit more clarity, but who cares. Many people don't know how difficult it is to make a good image of an animal. And you have managed to make him (or her) to look straight into your camera. And if it is really a wild life image i will say: GOOD JOB! Kristen.

Comment by B2O(2/13/2015 10:09:23 AM) - I like the colors very much! also the structure and "canyonish" water parts. The only nit would be The gradient of the shadow area starting here[^145;317;1] Did you use a ND filter?
Just made a small correction.

Comment by B2O(8/30/2014 10:47:08 AM) - Wrong shampoo I believe[^123;951;1] :)
Good clarity and contrast Wessel.

Comment by B2O(8/30/2014 10:45:41 AM) - Very nice vela. Would also see it a bit larger.

Comment by B2O(8/30/2014 10:42:58 AM) - Like the hazy light at the bottom right. and that rim of light on the right.[^415;323;2][^587;379;2][^520;641;2]

Comment by B2O(6/16/2014 5:40:36 AM) - I don't know about the hair region but for the rest it is very nice SVS.
Wonderfull! Compliment for the technique.

Comment by B2O(6/16/2014 5:39:23 AM) - I like the sharpness.[^406;442;1] against the booker[^315;531;1]

Comment by B2O(6/16/2014 5:38:11 AM) - Nice reflections Zenonas.

Comment by B2O(6/16/2014 5:37:28 AM) - I like the idea and that subtile addition of the star out here[^546;357;1]I cannot place the 3 but that also does not disturb me. Technacally very good. Great image. Please upload some more:)
Gr. Bas

Comment by B2O(6/16/2014 5:35:02 AM) - Great image. Made a crop suggestion just to make the black in the bottom a bit less. Maybe a bit black on the top would make it a bit better.
Wonderful light. For me the blown out section on top of the egg ads a lot to the contrast Black and White out there. So it absolutely does not disturb for me.
Great image. Upload some more....
Gr. Bas

Comment by B2O(6/16/2014 5:31:51 AM) - Nice image Sreten and many thanks for that information. To bad of that head in the BG but it does not disturb. It is a nice registration of the scene you described. That dragons looks a bit like the dragons in eastern asia.
Gr. Bas

Comment by B2O(6/10/2014 10:13:22 AM) - Great play of light Zenonas. I don't know about these highlights. I struggle with that also in my images of this kind of "flowery images".
But But I do like the pink and greens in this one.
I will post an image of mine. Glad to hear your critical and constructive comment.

Comment by B2O(6/9/2014 12:07:45 PM) - Different zenonas. Good job of integration of the 2nd layer (the face}ion the light areas. In the dark areas was a bit more difficult I believe?See the eyes. Nice try out.

Of course i like such an image. For some reason i do get optimistic after seeing this image.

Comment by B2O(6/7/2014 11:55:25 AM) - Hi Gene. Nice scene and moment, but the PP is a bit over the top for me.
Also in PP Less is more. But without experiments no new techniques:)
And thanks for the entry.

Comment by B2O(6/4/2014 8:28:05 AM) - #2 Geordie(Dean Wilson): Agree with you Dean, and selective reactions..........

Comment by B2O(6/4/2014 8:26:42 AM) - Great looks Vladyslav. I like the eyes and contact. It could use a bit more depth in the face. I think you have lightened the face? Dark shadows here[^511;447;1] and almost no shadows here[^339;440;1]. The skin tones here are a bit strange IMO[^341;316;1][^341;572;1]
Don't want to offend you(never want that) but I am always very critical on skin tones. In my own opinions I are even more critical.
And the looks are more important an big compliment on that.

Comment by B2O(6/2/2014 12:07:01 PM) - Hi Gene. I saw this one and like the idea an picture, but I do think that it needs some accurate corrections out here[^352;696;1][^362;616;1][^391;563;1][^710;485;1][^710;485;1][^852;577;1]
Retouch in real pixels and/or work with an Wacom intros.

Comment by B2O(6/2/2014 12:03:02 PM) - Nice mood and colors as in most of your images Ceri.
