Comment by Reidar(8/31/2013 12:39:20 PM) - Agree with Ray. To bad with the hot spot.

Comment by Reidar(8/31/2013 12:38:00 PM) - Love the light here.

Comment by Sasha Pezelj(8/31/2013 4:27:40 AM) - Nice vase

Comment by Ray Griffiths ( )(8/31/2013 2:44:45 AM) - Needs a cw rotation to straighten it. Like the idea though.

Comment by Hania (Anna Franek)(8/30/2013 7:13:00 PM) - Like this one very much.
At the moment my basket is full so will vote tomorrow - sorry!

Thank you so much for your friendly comments.

Comment by Hania (Anna Franek)(8/21/2013 6:50:16 PM) - Beautiful macro with great colour and light.
The frame is a bit distracting also for me.

Comment by Yosi Helmann(8/21/2013 1:44:39 PM) - It's hard to impress by a story with a macro image. You can mostly appreciate the technical work, AND IT IS.

Comment by Zenonas(8/21/2013 3:13:58 AM) - Great light and colours, I like this softness which gives romantic mood, a bit distracts framing.

Comment by Susanne (Susanne Eftevand)(8/21/2013 3:04:38 AM) - Agree Koduck

Comment by Koduck(8/20/2013 11:25:18 PM) - Nice colors but for a macro I feel it needs to be sharper

Comment by Wessel-130766(8/19/2013 2:12:19 AM) - Nice beach view.

Comment by Yosi Helmann(8/17/2013 2:29:57 PM) - Well, the filter is doing the picture, for good or for worth. I personaly like the result.

Comment by Ray Griffiths ( )(8/17/2013 3:35:30 AM) - Great Orton effect

Comment by Susanne (Susanne Eftevand)(8/17/2013 3:16:33 AM) - Nicely blured,pleasant shoot !

Comment by Jeanne Miller(8/14/2013 9:17:24 PM) - Artificial waterfall? The water doesn't seem to be falling from above.

Comment by Hania (Anna Franek)(8/13/2013 2:56:57 PM) - Beautiful!

Comment by rafal_antoniuk(8/10/2013 11:08:19 PM) - Nicely framed, but oversaturated for me.

Top 10 Recommendation
Comment by Wessel-130766(8/10/2013 5:07:04 PM) - Very crispy shot. This one is really good.
Just eliminate this[^113;99;1] and also from your sensor maybe:)

Comment by Wessel-130766(8/10/2013 5:05:39 PM) - I would give it a cw rotation Gene. Great scenery and pp.

Comment by Kristen L. Parker(8/5/2013 6:05:09 PM) - Lovely image. I agree about the toning as well. I would love to see it in color.

Comment by joe bellantoni(8/5/2013 6:02:47 PM) - actually color would be best but pure b/w is also a choice ...sepia does not quite work well imo

Comment by Hania (Anna Franek)(8/5/2013 3:49:16 PM) - A beautiful place. Agree with Wessel's comment.

Comment by Wessel-130766(8/5/2013 3:29:11 PM) - Nice exposured shot. I think a true b&w would be better

Comment by Kristen L. Parker(8/1/2013 3:31:54 AM) - This is a really neat fountain. The processing isn't quite right here though... the sky has a "tye dye" t-shirt look to it... perhaps a couple levels were too strong at the threshold? It looks uneven to me. Great subject and pov though, in my humble opinion...

Comment by Wessel-130766(7/28/2013 3:51:04 PM) - Very good suggestion from Kristen. But a very good shot from London. The overall treatment works very well.

Comment by Kristen L. Parker(7/28/2013 3:01:16 PM) - This is a great scene! Lovely work. My only suggestion is to watch out for halos around structures with this kind of processing, maybe it's just my preference... but here you have some around the clocktower... I would burn them out to make it look smooth. Very nice though!

Comment by Yosi Helmann(7/28/2013 1:09:40 PM) - It's realy an icon of old days of London

Comment by Reidar(7/28/2013 4:14:00 AM) - Agree with Ray

Comment by Hania (Anna Franek)(7/27/2013 9:11:58 PM) - It also fits Reidar's Theme Day very well :)

Comment by Ray Griffiths ( )(7/27/2013 4:38:45 PM) - Paris is indeed very beautiful

Comment by Ray Griffiths ( )(7/27/2013 4:37:19 PM) - Cool pose, needs focus to be on the eyes

Comment by Wessel-130766(7/24/2013 7:44:50 AM) - Agree about the rotation but I like the treatment

Comment by Wessel-130766(7/24/2013 7:44:21 AM) - Shadows of the hand needs more attention.

Comment by Ray Griffiths ( )(7/24/2013 3:04:32 AM) - Needs a CW rotation. Interesting processing.

Comment by Ray Griffiths ( )(7/24/2013 3:03:20 AM) - I like the pose but there are some shadows around the hand that ought not be there

Comment by Reidar(7/21/2013 3:53:43 AM) - Cool street shot

Comment by Yosi Helmann(7/20/2013 4:07:05 PM) - In contrast to your first image, This i-s P-a-r-i-s!! GRAET.

Comment by Yosi Helmann(7/20/2013 4:04:58 PM) - Even it's Paris, and i like Paris, i can'nt find a subject in this image. The mood and the light are great but there is no story here.

Comment by rafal_antoniuk(7/20/2013 4:03:04 PM) - Little-bit too heavy pp-ing for me.
Good street shot.

Comment by Yosi Helmann(7/20/2013 3:52:34 PM) - Hy Gene, can you tell me what a filter you used to produce this effect?
Very impressing.

Comment by rafal_antoniuk(7/19/2013 11:14:20 PM) - Great POV. Nicely taken.

Comment by Vadim Shirokov(7/18/2013 1:51:10 PM) - I like emphasis on these light moorings. For Tokina with such short focus the photo turned out with suspiciously correct geometry: )

Comment by Reidar(7/16/2013 6:42:39 PM) - Nice picture but i am not sure about the toning.

Comment by Reidar(7/16/2013 6:41:22 PM) - Good B&W

Comment by joe bellantoni(7/13/2013 4:22:34 PM) - #4 B2O: by that I would go to color balance and add 3% yellow and it would looke like a sepia....but more like a yellowed old photo.

Comment by Yosi Helmann(7/13/2013 4:08:04 PM) - I was there on one of those boats, it's realy amazing. The use of tele lens make this image different from other images i saw from the Niagara falls. My top 10

Comment by B2O(7/13/2013 3:08:50 PM) - #3 joe bellantoni: Hi Joe: What tool do you mean.
PS I did only crop and CR. When I uploaded it was bluer than before. Don't know what happened during uploading.

Comment by joe bellantoni(7/13/2013 11:10:13 AM) - #2 B2O: I like your fix on this...also if you add 3% yellow it could look like a vintage photo...Nice catch

Comment by B2O(7/13/2013 1:55:34 AM) - Nice mood Gene. I believe Rafal meant CW rotation. I made a crop also. Just example. I like the birds and the moving water at the BG. The blurred 2nd ship is an extra detail.
