Comment by Stuart Holmes(7/15/2016 11:00:28 PM) - I'm just struck by the place itself. (The photo is superb!) There appear to be ruins in the middle of this town and I can't help but wonder how old they must be, and am saddened by the fact that here in the states they'd have been covered over. This photo makes me determined to go there. (I think that's pretty high praise, yes?)

Comment by Ahmet(12/8/2014 4:45:35 PM) - Very fine soft colors..

Top 10 Recommendation
Comment by Ray Griffiths ( )(7/24/2014 11:51:08 AM) - Good.

Comment by Vadim Shirokov(2/12/2014 7:00:39 AM) - #8 TW_Bda(Tim White):thanks for an example. Beautifully. Before I tried to recover, all that turned out:)

Comment by TW_Bda (Tim White)(2/12/2014 6:32:36 AM) - A fun image! You could play with shadows and highlights, add detail to the face and clone out the blue rope...

Comment by Vadim Shirokov(2/11/2014 3:20:51 PM) - I think that this foot is guilty [^331;397;1]

Comment by Vadim Shirokov(2/11/2014 3:18:25 PM) - #5 Wessel-130766: It is a shade from one of feet:)

Comment by Wessel-130766(2/11/2014 3:05:22 PM) - The light is harsh but the thing I really like is the shadow against the ceiling. This makes it more scary. What happenend here?[^515;61;1]

Comment by Sjilkov(2/11/2014 2:22:08 PM) - Good

Comment by Zenonas(2/11/2014 10:40:09 AM) - Too harsh lighting...

Comment by B2O(2/11/2014 6:28:04 AM) - This one is scaring me also Vadim. A bit too dark for me but I know how the circumstances are in musea. That's very harsh if you need to use ISO 4000.
But glad that you will share this with us. I have never seen them before.
And I know you are an honest learning man:)

Comment by Ray Griffiths ( )(2/11/2014 5:02:10 AM) - I've got one of these on my bedroom ceiling. They're sneaky, letting themselves down at night while you're sleeping. Don't have nightmares.

Comment by Vadim Shirokov(2/11/2014 4:22:29 AM) - #2 B2O:
#3 Ray Griffiths(I'm building an Ark):
Not a bit of it! You are too serious about it:) It is modest private exhibition. In Moscow. Is called "Huge insects". There are a few exhibits. I think that it is a flea:) I now will post the following photo that you had a fuller appreciation about it:)

Comment by Vadim Shirokov(2/11/2014 4:16:15 AM) - #1 Wessel-130766: Thank you!

Comment by Ray Griffiths ( )(2/11/2014 3:28:17 AM) - It's a Kraken. I'm sure it's a Kraken.

Comment by B2O(2/10/2014 4:52:42 PM) - What kind of museum is that.......? And what is it.....? I like the details Vadim but it is the details that's scaring me....

Comment by Wessel-130766(2/10/2014 4:11:08 PM) - Put it on a black bg and it really pops.
Nice details

Comment by Sandspurr (go ahead.. step on me)(2/10/2014 10:06:47 AM) - wonderful image

Comment by Jeanne Miller(2/5/2014 4:26:08 PM) - As is, she has a more wistful expression than she might have were her eyes sharper. I like.

Comment by Vadim Shirokov(2/5/2014 12:45:48 AM) - #4 TW_Bda(Tim White): It agree with you. Well looks too! And the main thing - it is very simple and effective way of struggle against the added tints of pink:)

Comment by Vadim Shirokov(2/5/2014 12:40:49 AM) - #2 Wessel-130766: Yes, thanks. I have tried to consider remarks concerning the previous photo.

Comment by Vadim Shirokov(2/5/2014 12:39:07 AM) - #3 Elisabeth: :)))

Comment by Vadim Shirokov(2/5/2014 12:38:38 AM) - #3 Elisabeth: I photographed by a support, therefore there was a possibility to make f/8. Concerning perspective I agree and do not agree:) Sometimes I would like to try the fish eye. But while I have not bought such objective (the qualitative fish eye costs much), I have simply made the picture on 28-70/2.8 available for me on the shortest focal length. But the photo has turned out volume, thanks to that it multiplane - many objects were located:)

Comment by Vadim Shirokov(2/5/2014 12:31:55 AM) - #2 Wessel-130766: The photo has passed repeated processing to achieve such colours. The original was more sad.

Comment by TW_Bda (Tim White)(2/4/2014 6:55:08 PM) - Very cute - works as a b/w too

Comment by Elisabeth(2/4/2014 5:12:11 PM) - I like the claritiy in this photo very much. I agree about the corrections of the perspective!

Comment by Wessel-130766(2/4/2014 4:32:35 PM) - Nice architecture. Maybe try some perspective corrections. (will be hard)
Love the colors

Comment by Sreten(2/4/2014 1:09:55 PM) - Winter mood with grey sky and nice architectural details.

Comment by Sreten(2/4/2014 1:08:31 PM) - Very cute and great exposure control.

Comment by Vadim Shirokov(2/4/2014 12:20:09 PM) - #2 Wessel-130766: I with you agree. But you know as it happens:) You do a series of pictures but when it turns out, it is possible to tell, casually very successful shot then to repeat it already you can not in any way. And the focusing point, unfortunately, has got on hair, instead of on eyes.

Comment by Reidar(2/3/2014 5:34:09 PM) - Cool.

Comment by Wessel-130766(2/3/2014 4:18:56 PM) - Cool shot. Whites are quite hot here[^544;474;1]
Cute factor is very high

Comment by Wessel-130766(2/3/2014 4:18:07 PM) - Excllent posing and clarity. I think the eyes could be a tad sharper and more sparkling.

Comment by joe bellantoni(2/3/2014 1:15:11 PM) - I like this...suggest you increase just the pink color just a bit

Comment by incult (Marius Caragea)(2/3/2014 10:20:34 AM) - I like it. It does a good job at holding eye contact.
