Comment by DAT (Davey Towers)(1/20/2016 4:31:00 PM) - Lovely low key portrait

Comment by Hania (Anna Franek)(6/1/2013 6:22:16 PM) - Like it very much!

Comment by Vadim Shirokov(5/31/2013 4:42:28 PM) - Very pleasant picture. Gentle transition of lights to shades.

Comment by arinas74(5/30/2013 9:27:34 AM) - #1 Hania(Anna Franek): Thank you for your nice comments. There actually is a lake beyond the rocks and trees, and the houses in the background are on an island.

#2 Ray Griffiths(There's no peas for the wicked): Thanks for the comments and the suggested crop; I think it works, now I kind of see my original with too much sky.

Comment by Ray Griffiths ( )(5/30/2013 3:30:52 AM) - Great colours

Comment by Hania (Anna Franek)(5/30/2013 2:29:41 AM) - Beautiful, moody, soft light and subtle colours. Lights of houses in the background add a lot.

Comment by joe bellantoni(5/28/2013 5:14:27 PM) - well seen

Thank you all for your comments. Yes, the black spots are from the rain. Too bad Photoblink images have the 150kb size cap, many images such as this one cannot be fully appreciated (like the rain) because of the small size and low quality to keep it under 150k.

Comment by arinas74(5/28/2013 10:04:45 AM) - #3 azizchangezi: Thank you for your comments. I usually do not like low contrast B&W images, but I guess I over did the contrast here.

Comment by George60(5/28/2013 3:26:02 AM) - Nice composition Arinas! The choice of B&W is very good. I wonder about these black spots in the water though. Are they from the rain?

Comment by azizchangezi(5/28/2013 2:50:05 AM) - Love the Composition But Little bit Sad just Because of Dark Shadows Inside , i Would Like it For Better Detail Showing You Example Image Hope U Will Like It .

Comment by LindaY (Linda Y)(5/27/2013 5:24:22 PM) - Nice monochrome image with some excellent details and good composition.

Comment by Safa(5/27/2013 3:52:59 PM) - Good Shot , Arinas !

Comment by arinas74(5/27/2013 12:40:39 PM) - #1 Sreten: Thanks, Sreten. I believe it is. I didn't see it up close. I was passing by to another area of the workshop and I loved the light and had to stop to make the shot.

Comment by Sreten(5/27/2013 12:24:53 PM) - Interesting interior shot with pretty hot light coming from the window. Is this [^332;425;1] a wooden part of the rifle?

Comment by arinas74(5/27/2013 10:59:18 AM) - #1 bert: Thanks!! What is that thing you mention of fridays theme day?

Comment by bert(5/25/2013 5:40:23 AM) - a great capture, this would have been a good post for Fridays theme day, regards bert

Comment by arinas74(5/23/2013 6:42:42 PM) - Egbert, LindaY and Wessel, thank you all for your comments, I really appreciate the input. Funny thing is, trying to give it a more moody color palette and feel, I did these adjustments, since the original photo is brighter and with slightly different tones.

Comment by Wessel-130766(5/23/2013 5:11:34 PM) - I echo both comments. Compo is really good.

Comment by LindaY (Linda Y)(5/23/2013 4:52:22 PM) - Very nicely composed image. I particularly like the cactus in the foreground as this is something different. You might try to do a bit of color adjustment on this to brighten up the colors just a bit.

Comment by Egbert M. Reinhold (www.allmondo.com )(5/23/2013 4:25:27 PM) - Water looks a bit brown and the light is a bit bright. Composition is very nice.
