Comment by Wessel-130766(5/6/2013 4:01:14 PM) - Very nice macro shot indeed. Tim's crop works very well for especially if you could clone out the black bg as well. Will be very hard to do

Comment by TW_Bda (Tim White)(5/6/2013 3:19:41 PM) - Really nice macro - I appreciate the perspective you have achieved in this shot. I might suggest a bit a bit of a crop to draw more attention to the moth, and maybe warm the tones a little to bring out the beauty of the moth.

Comment by Sjilkov(5/6/2013 2:48:06 PM) - Good macro

Comment by rafal_antoniuk(5/6/2013 12:37:45 PM) - Very nice macro work!

Comment by charlo(5/6/2013 12:29:50 PM) - #1 Naseer Fedaee(Kindness Cost Nothing..): Thanks much appreciated

Comment by Naseer Fedaee (Kindness Cost Nothing..)(5/6/2013 12:04:19 PM) - Great macro shot

Comment by charlo(5/5/2013 3:07:46 AM) - #7 joe bellantoni: Thanks i'll try to work it out ;)

Comment by joe bellantoni(5/4/2013 3:52:23 PM) - #6 charlo: You could do it how you like but in general I see in all your image that there is little if any color and they are oversharpened and too contrasty....now if that is what you are going for I guess you got it but imo it is not good work.

Comment by charlo(5/4/2013 1:54:33 AM) - #5 joe bellantoni: yes it could be a bit too much , but i liked it that way.... is there any rules in photography about contrast ?? What i mean is i should stay with any regulation or i choose my way ?? Thanks

Comment by charlo(5/4/2013 1:45:04 AM) - #5 B2O:
#6 Wessel-130766: I can clearly understand what i have done wrong now, as i'm new to PS i choosed a simple way to burn a bit the background, i just brushed around the hawk with the burn tool. I should selected the hawk first and burned the other part am i right ???

Comment by joe bellantoni(5/3/2013 5:09:44 PM) - maybe a bit too contrasty

Comment by Wessel-130766(5/3/2013 4:54:31 PM) - #4 charlo: It's good to upload these images. That's the way you and we all can learn. It's hard to learn from perfects images.

Comment by B2O(5/3/2013 3:12:01 PM) - Nice charlo. Specially the pose and position of that hawk. I agree with Ray Boulatov and Safa about the over sharpening. It looks also like a "cut out". I don't know if it is but if it isn't it would be better not to work "pixel perfect" in your post processing. Every time I do so it looks more "fake" in my images.

#2 Boulatov Dmitry:
#3 Safa: Thanks all, yes i clearly understood i shouldn't uploaded this photo but with these comments i can learn a lot ;) Thanks guys

Comment by Safa(5/3/2013 5:12:22 AM) - Good Taken , But Agree with Other Friends about Over processing .

Comment by Boulatov Dmitry(5/3/2013 5:04:12 AM) - Condition of flight simply super, but overprocessing...

Comment by Ray Griffiths ( )(5/3/2013 3:01:59 AM) - Oversharpened and too harsh, the white halos around the bird are the result of overprocessing.

Comment by Ray Griffiths ( )(5/3/2013 3:00:30 AM) - You should remove this [^669;489;1] white blob.

Comment by charlo(5/2/2013 5:06:27 PM) - #1 Wessel-130766: so true... i can only notice these mistakes when someone pointed to me. I'm learning a lot from this site, thanks again Wessel

Comment by Wessel-130766(5/2/2013 5:00:11 PM) - Nice details/sharpness Charlo. Good comp as well. I would only soften this cloud edge. Looks too hard for me[^67;131;1]

Comment by Safa(5/2/2013 3:27:46 PM) - #8 charlo: Your welcome , Charlo !

Comment by charlo(5/2/2013 3:23:17 PM) - #7 Safa: you'r right well noticed when you mentioned the spots. Thanks again for helping ;)

Comment by Safa(5/2/2013 3:20:25 PM) - #6 charlo:
Charlo , as you said I think its for brightness That you have in this spots .[^621;624;1][^692;541;1] .

Comment by charlo(5/2/2013 3:13:13 PM) - #1 Ray Griffiths(There's no peas for the wicked):Thanks
#2 Wessel-130766: noticed will try my best next time and thanks for your ideas
#3 Reidar: 10x as i answered Wessel i'll try my best the next time ;)
#4 B2O: Thanks and yes hope i will learn more and more from these comments as i'm a beginner in photography and editing
#5 Safa : Do you think it's taking the eye over it coz it's bright or it's just out of subject ?

Comment by charlo(5/2/2013 12:59:38 PM) - #1 Wessel-130766: Thanks for your feedback. much appreciated. The point that you are referring to is part of a bastion and not a boat although it really looks like a boat as you have pointed out. The red colour on the bastion is created by means of a laser. As regarding the fireworks they were bright white.
#2 Sreten: Thank you
#3 Naseer Fedaee(Kindness Cost Nothing..): Thank you
