If the first submission of this bird wasn't enough to poke our eyes out...

execution is excellent, sharpness is stunning. What a shot.

Even in B&W it is good...

Miguel, I think I will learn how to do landscapes, LOL, this is magnificent. Dog 9.8
18 Les McLean (**** ))   (7/7/2004 4:51:30 PM)
This is good, very good, but in B&W it absolutely sings, I think because the contrast with the BG is more pronounced in B&W. Whichever way you look at it, it's a world class image.
19 April (Cindy Metzger)   (7/7/2004 5:05:48 PM)

#16 Miguel Lasa:

You are most kind Miguel. We each seek to find good light, to show others what we see in the natural world. You are very talented and I look forward in the years to come to viewing your works. We have little time to find the good light, it comes rarely, but when it does, it enriches our lives and makes us larger than life itself. I hope to find good light in the future, half as good as you have found here. Grow, expand, seek, relax, unshoe, run if you can, walk as far as you can, sit in the grass, sit in a tree, but live, live, live. :-)
28 Claudia Robinson (looie's mom :-o)   (7/7/2004 6:36:51 PM)

36 ChristopherG   (7/8/2004 1:54:08 AM)
Miguel, if the first one was good, tihs one is even better. The light, DOF and colors all come together to create this great image. I just love that wing span, and the clarity of the feathers on the bottom left.
Great great job. I look forward to your future postings.
37 herman blockx   (7/8/2004 2:45:37 AM)

Since I gave the pervious one a (9) , I should give this a (9.8) as the eagle here have more depth due to lighting and the angle is wonderful , Regards

Outstanding photo, world class. I am with grzesio above. Great.
55 Leggett (Bill Leggett)   (7/8/2004 6:26:18 PM)

56 Axel   (7/8/2004 7:36:23 PM)
Fantastic work...just fantastic
57 RandyW (Randy Walton)   (7/8/2004 8:56:15 PM)
Wonderful shot of this huge eagle. I understand they have bodies about 3 feet long and wingspans of about 8 feet. The fast action of the 1D Mark II with 8 frames per sec must really be valuable for this type of shooting.
Outstanding work!
58 COBa (Alexei Konopkine)   (7/8/2004 10:10:36 PM)
well done!
59 Pascal Meerpoel   (7/9/2004 7:28:09 AM)
This is indeed a worldclass masterpiece ! (score 10)
60 Kari Post   (7/18/2004 9:17:55 AM)
Absolutely amazing! Perfect sharpness, focus, DOF, exposure. I almost like it better in black and white because the brown and blue in the background blend into an even tone. Excellent job!
