Truely excellent. If this was the only image you shot in 2004, you had a good year :-))
32 gdanger (George Dangerfield)   (12/31/2004 1:01:51 PM)
#31 Larry Korhnak: Thanks, but I shot this in 2002, I just happened to come across it going through old stuff that I hadn't posted before. This was taken during a blizzard in which we got 18 inches of snow. I posted two others from this same shoot previously. I have never able to duplicate the quality of images I got with my old D60, wish I had never gotten rid of it.
33 Elisabeth   (12/31/2004 1:55:01 PM)
Fantastic! Happy New Year!

Beautiful shot, George! I love the way that I can see the blowing snow and the bits of snow that are clinging to his head really add a nice touch. Exposure on his black "mask" looks excellent as his dark eye is also very visable. A real winner in my books!
36 Bill Houghton   (12/31/2004 5:33:31 PM)

45 Fabio Keiner   (1/2/2005 4:34:18 AM)
46 David Russell   (1/2/2005 3:11:13 PM)
Muted background enhances the stunning colour of the bird. Composition is faultless, particularly like the twiggs leading out of the frame to the left and right. Also the bird turning its head 3/4 draws you into the frame. Not an easy shot to get, particularly as the weather looks terrible, even 1/90 sec couldnt stop the blur in the snow, but this adds to the photo.
47 David13   (1/2/2005 3:29:35 PM)
