Again a really good concept has produced a moody B&W. I'd clean up this scratch here as it is the second thing the eye goes to after the shoulder of the model.

#1 Ray Griffiths(I'm building an Ark): Hi Ray.
Many thanks. It's not a scratch, but part of a big and old spider web. Can agree with you and also thought on removing, but then I would loose my web.
Anyway, it was quite a trouble to get and hold the model there....she hates spiders.

Nice explanation Mario :) Woman and spiders..........
I agree with Ray that the eye goes from the shoulder toe that one spider web thread. It would be better that the eye moves from the shoulder to the face in the mirror. But I understand your great dilemma because that web gives an extra kick to the mood in the picture.

Very nice executed. But I would would go a step further and make it more dramatic. And some textures to it for example.
But anyway a great concept and execution

#4 Wessel-130766: Thanks a lot Wessel, but I'm afraid I don't agree with your kind suggestion.
Too much noise for my personal point of view.
You people don't know me yet, so I must tell you that I always make by best in order to keep my pics as close as possible as they came out from the camera. Some times I spend hours in the same spot trying to get the appropriate light or event, when sometimes I could easily get the same result with a stroke of the software tools.
You are free to call me old stubborn dinosaur, but that's the way I enjoy photography and I can't help it.
I will never criticize who does it and I even admire it. Just my way, hope you understand.
Btw, pic taken in my dark and dirty attic using a courageous model (who happens to be a great photographer).
Lens Nikkor 50mm - Handheld, ISO 100, F/1.8, 1/15 sec and no VR (old lady still made in Japan). Cheers

#3 B2O: Hi Bas. Thanks a lot for liking and understanding. Have a look on my reply to Wessel in order to know me better and also to understand the mistakes I usually do in my pics.
Rely on you guys to help me minimize those mistakes. Cheers

#6 Mario Dias:
Thanks for your reply. It is always good to know the photographers point of view. And the best thing is to enjoy our hobby as much as we can.
But it is not critizing (in the bad meaning) but see it as an other point. Sometimes this can give you input for an other shot.

#5 Zenonas: Thanks a lot Zenonas.
Have a look on my reply to Wessel.

#8 Wessel-130766: Dear Wesseal, I never took your comment/suggestion as a critique, but as a honest and rich comment, which I really appreciate and I'm very grateful for it.
Please feel free and welcome to comment my pics as you wish. As long as honest and constructive you are always welcome.
Thanks a lot.

#7 Mario Dias: Hi Mario. I do not believe you make mistakes. I believe you are trying some new things out. And than things grow to something beautiful and yes than there are always things that did not work out sometimes. But I like your open mind and creativity. And do things what you makes you happy but the view of another photographer can open your eyes om something you did not see (yet)
And thanks for your explanation and keep on going so that we can see more of your work.

#11 B2O: Believe me Bas, everybody makes mistakes. It's human, not possible escape.
But you are right, I'm a bit fed up of nice and sharp pictures, showing only nice things or landscapes, but nothing else. No real content, no "soul". That's why I keep breaking my head trying to figure out how to make something, maybe not so nice, but mainly original and telling some kind of story. That's my goal. I think I will never achieve it, but I promise you guys that I'll be keep on trying hard.
In the meantime I force myself to keep an open mind and take good note of all the opinions and suggestions I can get.
Thanks a lot for your words. Cheers
