Watch out Dean. That's the where it all started in Hitchcock's "The Birds".... With just one bird in his back yard and I think you know what happened next....;)
But serious Nice image of this bird with nice details. You could work a bit on the blueish cast on the blacks. Maybe a yellow filter will be enough and brush the trees back in.

Hi Dean. I hope your recovery is going well and that you will soon be able to explore further afield. I like the details and pose, but I have to agree with Bas on the colour. It seems that a number of your recent posts have that same blue/magenta cast. Do you see them as blue? - if not it could be your monitor that is messing you up. Might be worth checking out - I know mine tends to run a little blue if I don't calibrate it.

#3 TW_Bda(Tim White): Thank you Tim - your example has shown me the way I hope. Need to adjust my Lightroom settings I think. Without helpful comments like this we are, sadly, ignorant sometimes.

#3 TW_Bda(Tim White): Just realised too that shooting through double glazed windows may be the problem too! LOL!

Certainly possible, Dean - Glass does strange things refracting light!
