Good action shot. I'd prefer slightly more depth of field but probably not possible with fast shutter.
2 B2O   (6/13/2013 6:37:17 AM)
I have the same idea as Ray, but it still is a great "movy" image. Very nice moment and shutter speed.

Cool moment!

I don't care about the back bird, but the front one should have more shadow detail...maybe you can work on it and you will have a winner
5 Wessel-130766   (6/13/2013 1:52:11 PM)
I agree with Joe. Put all the attention to the front bird. Open up the shadows

#1 Ray Griffiths(There's no peas for the wicked):
#2 B2O: Shutter speed - 1/8000s , so I can have more DOF, I just didn't expected two birds in frame, when I was looking for most blur BG

#4 joe bellantoni:
#5 Wessel-130766: In strong light like here is very hard to get good details in black , specialy in shadows. If you have time please check example (more dogding)

Good picture. Difficult objects.
9 LindaY (Linda Y)   (6/13/2013 6:42:12 PM)
This is a very cool shot. I like the way that the front bird that is in focus echos the blurred one in the back. Very effective in conveying motion and speed. I do agree with Joe's suggestion on working just a bit more to bring out some details in the dark.

Perfect Crop , Great Timing . Agree with Joe and Wessel , But I understand the Strong Shades from Direct Sun !
Well Captured !
