Nice shot and the gull adds a nice touch Frank.

Excellent work!
3 joe bellantoni   (11/28/2004 1:06:56 PM)
nice shot frank...can you increase the saturation a little...needs some punch
4 Roger Ranney (Don't block the shot)   (11/28/2004 1:28:23 PM)
Great subject, but maybe too centered. I'd like to move the frame more to the right.
5 docmm   (11/28/2004 1:50:57 PM)
Colours look v good here. Like the way you've managed not to crop the buildings in two by the horizon.
6 Claudia Robinson (looie's mom :-o)   (11/28/2004 1:53:05 PM)
agree with Joe and Roger but you couldn't have a straighter horizon! nice image.
7 Elisabeth   (11/28/2004 2:34:23 PM)
8 SirnesPhotography (Trine Sirnes)   (11/28/2004 3:14:18 PM)
Very nice place and a good capture. I left you a crop suggestion to make a more off-centered composition. Even better would have been your crop but the seagull more to the right(a millisecond later).
suggested crop >>

Neat shot, quite centered little too much imho! Very quiet mood, strong colours and a very nice presentation! The two little things on the horizon in the right part might have cloned out imho!
The bird in the sky adds that little more!

Thanks, for the suggestions
I will give it a try, might be able to move the gull a bit and the crop is a good idea

Reloaded after a few changes, crop and a bit saturation. I moved the gull, but is that allowed? (it's my picture so why not)

32 Andy Cooper ( What I SHOULD have done was.....)   (11/30/2004 4:58:46 AM)
Didn't see this before you moved the gull, Frank....looks just fine now...lucky you had a clear sky...must have made moving him easy.
Super place, super shot.
33 Martin Stainsby   (11/30/2004 1:01:26 PM)
This is a very good photo. Brilliant colours. The ships on the horizon add a bit of perspective and the gull looks good without being distracting.
34 btezra   (11/30/2004 4:09:14 PM)
~it's a fine scene, very...soothing and relaxing to view, but I must admit it does not jump right out at me...what does resonate is the slying seagull, that makes this a fine shot IMO~
35 Greg (Greg Governale)   (12/4/2004 2:26:33 PM)
a very nice image, the saturation looks very nice. The gull is what makes the image stand out in my opinion. Greg Governale
36 Terry Forrest (Teresa Forrest)   (12/25/2004 10:19:56 AM)
Gulls caught flying, especially in lighthouse photos, always add a nice extra touch and this is no exception. Looks like one of your best lighthouse photos to me, Frank.

38 Sergio Pessolano   (1/30/2005 5:03:30 PM)
Great composition. I think it needs a little more saturation andcontrast in the shadows.
