detailsPlaying around with some HDR, I shot this in South Park, Co., and meet up with a fellow PB'er. We had a GREAT time in Co., so much to see and shoot and learn from each other! He tought me a new style that I'm learning and love!

Any improvements to this shot is greatly appreciated!

Superb, Tim. Really terrific in all ways. Be proud.

Hey - it's almost as cool as the one where you're standing at the end of the tunnel with the largest gastrocnemius muscles I've ever seen.

Seriously, this is tremendous. The conversion's great as is the contrast spectrum and tonality.

And that's what I call maximum DoF!

A winning shot, and thanks for screwing up my basket at 6pm - mwaaaaaahhh.

#7 rafal_antoniuk: Thanks Rafal!

#8 MJFerron: Thanks, MJ but you can tell me what you think of the photo, you will not hurt my feelings. This is something new for me and people like my daughter who is VERY creative, loves this kind of stuff. And it is giving her a lot of ideas on what she can create.

#9 Tim Pereira(Sheriff Buford T Justice): Tim I like it overall. Impressive light and detail inside the shaft. My eyes want to a stronger subject outside the opening but one has no control over that.

its a very nice capture, with a nice lead straight down the middle and beyond, I think a lighter pb back ground emphasizes the comp better than the black one, I think the brightness of the lantern is just a little to bright, as it tries to steal the attention, and the attention for me is the view beyond,I am seeing the view outside the door is just a bit over sharpened... the magnificent sky is the icing on the cake when I look at it very closely..... not really pulling it apart mate , just food for thought, indeed a very nice capture and composition

Thank you both, this was a very hard shot for me, I have never done HDR before and when I put the photos together, around 5 of them, I did not like the color. So, I converted it to BW. And John, I did lighten up the lantern a little more and I can see I did it a little to much. I think I did soften the outside prety good, what you might think is over sharpening is the texture of the cart.

I like this but think the whole composition looks much better with a dark gray bbg(pb) rather than black Tim.
