The details on the feathers are sooo good! BG works for me too.

I like the feather detail and colors. Fix that clone line to the right/bottom. she looks so smooth and soft.Cute pose.

That's not a clone line, I've noticed this on several of my images lately, anybody have any idea what's causing it? Thanks! K~

I love the bird's pose, and the smoothness of the image.

Excellent pose Kimberly. The bird seems really curious and inquisitive about what you're doing. Great eye gleam. Take care. Barb.

I do love the "expression", Kimberly. I keep trying different crops in order to emphasize the bird's face, but nothing seems to work. About the line on the side... if it were film and it showed up in all your negs, I'd say clean your lenses. Don't know if this holds true for digital or not.

very nice

Kimberly ... I am particularly amazed with the breast feather detail and the nice sharp foreground branch with goodly texture. I have shot quite a few of these doves at a distance with a scope, and just couldn't get the breast feathers to show, they are so fine. Nice pose and BG too, and you even got some eye-gleam! :O)

I like the personality you have caught here. I also like the way you handled those whites.

I saw the photo when it was posted a couple of days ago and admired it very much but didn't get a chance to either comment or 'vote'. There is something here that sets the image well apart from the rest. I think it's the combination of lighting, colors, curvy lines, and, of course, the expression! Then, obviously, there is the whole tradition of white doves and their symbolism, etc, etc. That might be part of the reason this is so appealing, even if subsconsciously. Still, you have something very special and your own in the photo. It really is endearing, and most gentle.

Ditto Roland except for having shot any of these. this is very nice.
25 Terry Forrest (Teresa Forrest)   (5/20/2002 8:38:56 AM)
Looks as good now as when I first saw it, Kim. Very nice composition, excellent feather details and exposure on the white. Eye gleam and inquiring pose of the head very good. The deep brown of the branch also looks super against the white of the dove. (9)
