detailsIt takes a lot of patience to photograph dragonflies on a windy day – and fortunately for me this dragonfly was very very patient… He was bobbing back and forth in the gusty winds – but looking at this image it almost seems like he was enjoying it, wings up in the breeze and all. CP990.

Great shot amazingly close with your 990, I never have any luck with my 995. So have you gone completely digital with your macros?

there really have been a lot of Dragon's posted. This one stands out because the DOF is all in the right areas. The background is not distracting and yet at the same time not so flat or plain that it is boring. Truly fantastic work! 9.0 Greg Governale

I am friends with his relatives. Nice work.
21 Terry Forrest (Teresa Forrest)   (7/26/2002 12:06:22 PM)
LOL re Mark Plonsky's comment!! I like the composition and the angle of the dragonfly's body in particular, as well as the background. I think, though, the wings showed just a tiny bit more detail in your posting before this, but this is good, too. (8.65)
