I think the lighting is a little too dark. I like the one fallen flower on the petal and your title.

I tried lightening it some and resubmitting. At home, this looked perfect but here on my monitor at work, it seems dark. The light in the original is natural on an over cast day - maybe I should say that I removed the background. Does that make it photo art?

Good title here Debbie. Iwasn't able to look or vote for a couple days because I was so busy I voted but didn't comment on the ones of yours that I missed. Jim as always.

I like the placement of the blossom in the frame here Debbie, it reminds me of a hand, the tiny flowers that have landed on it add a nice touch, you did a good job removing the background, although I do think I prefer a more natural color than black that is so commonly used.

I like this composition a lot. I would prefer some side lighting, as this one is kind of flat, though. Nevertheless, the subject is very beautiful and the idea, very poetic.
16 Terry Forrest (Teresa Forrest)   (5/5/2003 10:18:10 PM)
It does look like it's floating and the way the petals are, they look like they're arms outstrectched so I feel your title is very appropriate. Lovely. I like the stray bits on the white petals making it a little more colorful. (8.5)
