Very precise crop exploring the vanishing point that conduct the viewer until the house in the BG right. The reflexes in the water is brilhant and valorize a lot the image.Another superb capture, Hassan.
11 KAY (........ .......)   (11/30/2003 8:20:56 AM)
Beautifully composed scene. Love the reflections too. kay

It is that beautiful sweep of the oval created that grabs me - great scene.
13 Nancy Attwater   (11/30/2003 9:57:30 AM)
Wonderful capture. Love the crystal clear water with the reflexion. The little house adds to this great composition. Good work!
14 Mike Blanchard   (11/30/2003 10:21:47 AM)
It certainly is a wonderfully composed image, isolating a little bit of symmetrical magic. Marko's crop makes sense but I really like the blue sky at the bottom of the frame and find that it provides a little visual relief and ultimately makes the symmetry more effective. Obviously, the crystal clear reflection makes it work. Terrific vision and execution Hasan. Well done.

20 Alan Kinnersley   (11/30/2003 3:19:08 PM)
Like the composition of this shot, very sharp and lovely reflection. May have liked a bit of sky to go with reflection but take nothing away, another super shot, reflection makes this for me.
21 Haim Ziv   (11/30/2003 3:58:40 PM)
Sorry not to agree with all the sweet comment above. This one look like tourist shot with a bad vertical composition when my eyes leading me to see it as an horizontal image. The meaning is it looks like you crop it on the right side. Too many elements too busy to look at. The lighting and focus overall are a little on the rough side. I don't think it deserve high score like it has.
22 Hans (photography or politics?)   (11/30/2003 4:06:41 PM)
Excellent composition. Perfect photo, everything works together.

Agree with #22, Hans...excellent work!
24 LindaY (Linda Y)   (11/30/2003 4:38:38 PM)
There is a lot to like about this photo, Hassan. I love the curve of the bridges, the little house at the end of the bridge, the marvelous details in stones of the bridge and the wonderful warm colors of Italy. Unfortunately, in my opinion you tried to capture all of the beauty in one photo and it just doesn't work for me. There are just too many things going on here. I can see about 3 or 4 different compositions here, and all of them lovely...just not all together. One photo would include just the house and the arch below it. One of the bridge only without the reflections below it so that the eye is free to follow the bridge. And one with only the bridge and the reflections. I left you a crop for this suggested composition. It is still not exactly right, but I think it will give you an idea of what I had in mind. I hope that you don't think I am being too hard on you. But I have this problem myself in my photos and finally one person mentioned it on another forum. Now I am more conscious of it. Keep up the good work. Most of your work is excellent.

Hassan ... As Mike noted, the blue at the bottom is an area that attracts the eye, and that is because it is the brightness spot in the photo. But this doesn't work very well for me because I prefer to have my eye to come to rest on the subject. Concerning the subject, I too am undecided if the prime subject is the house, the bridge, or the bridge/reflection combination. So I agree then with Haim and Linda on the busy aspect of the photo, and also to me anyway, the light seems a little harsh. Although it did cause the great reflection, I think it also made the upper part of the image a little flat in appearance, but still with still with good detail. The scene is still nice and does have has the decent qualities mentioned in the beginning of Linda's comment. Perhaps then this is a case where "Less" is "More"?

I understand both sides of the commenting on this one and I am torn. But when it comes down to it I really like it so I am going to say Great shot!

I love this one very much. Great reflection, (IMO)the fact that you can see the sky only in the reflection gives a great effect. Congratulations! (9.5) ~~Antonio~~
